Brand proposal and local area campaign for Premier League footballer.
Branding
The key graphic for this identity was a signature typeface that had to articulate some of the player’s character on the pitch; speed, agility and trickery on the ball. The typeface has a sense of speed and movement, elegantly captured in a monogrammed WZ for the primary logo.
The touch-points for this brand had to feel very local, Zaha being one of the few Premier League players to play for his hometown club. I imagined the centrepiece for the campaign to be a painted mural that fans could enjoy on their way to the stadium.
